“Innovation NJ” is a coalition of business and academia established to promote policies that foster an environment for innovation in the state that will:
1) encourage increased private and public sector R&D and the commercialization of new medicines, technologies and products to improve our quality of life;
2) stimulate economic growth in New Jersey; and
3) retain and advance high-paying jobs in the state
4) retain and advance high-paying innovation-related jobs in the State
5) increase the number of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related graduates from New Jersey colleges and universities.

Drug Discovery & Development Day
University scientists, pharmaceutical industry researchers and others from the business world held a day-long meeting Nov. 3 to discuss industry trends and Rutgers research that are most relevant to drug discovery and development. Video of the speakers and copies of their slides are posted here.
Access University Research Equipment and Facilities
Rutgers operates world-class research facilities and equipment, many of which are available to external researchers. Those include a new brain imaging center with MRI, a wide range of labs, and devices in computing, wireless systems, biomaterials and packaging. And SEBS is holding an open house for its facilities March 15. At left is an analytical tool in the Engineering Research Center for Structured Organic Particulate Systems, operated by a doctoral student.
